Television announcer Akiko Abe (30) is now a mother. She gave birth to her first son on Thursday morning at a hospital in Bangkok, Thailand.
Abe’s husband, whom she married in 2006, currently works in Bangkok. She moved there in 2007 after leaving NTV, but she returned to television earlier this year.
