As part of the typical spring lineup changes made by the major television networks, Fuji TV is reportedly discontinuing its late-night variety show “Campus Night Fuji” at the end of March. Despite its time slot (Friday nights, 1:20am-3:20am), the show still managed average ratings of 2 to 3%.
Introduced in April 2009, the two-hour show is a live-broadcast variety program that focuses on trends among female college students. Hosted by Kendo Kobayashi (37), the show features regular appearances by comedy duos such as Audrey and Knights, as well as a cast of more than 20 actual students known as the Campus Nighters.
