Fuse, Komura divorced in April

Actor Hiroshi Fuse (51) and actress Hiro Komura (43) have officially divorced, it was announced on Monday. Once widely regarded as a happily married couple, the two had been married for seventeen years and gave birth to three sons together.

Fuse and Komura married in 1992. Last year, it was revealed that the two had been living separately for some time. In December, Komura requested divorce arbitration by a family court, and the proceedings were completed on April 17. Komura was granted custody of the children.

During a live TV interview on Monday, a surprisingly cheerful Komura said that the first arbitration hearing had been set for March, but Fuse was unable to attend due to his schedule. At the second one on April 17, Fuse agreed to the divorce.

Regarding the reasons for the divorce, Komura explained that there were various factors that resulted in the decision. Several rumors have surfaced, but Komura specifically denied that it was because of domestic violence. She also expressed her gratitude to Fuse as a husband and father, adding that she still feels the entire marriage was a good experience and full of memories.

When asked about the possibility of remarriage, Komura said that she has no plans for it. However, she appears to be refocusing on her acting career.
