The latest issue of the Big Comic Original magazine revealed that Shinichi Ishizuka’s manga “Gaku: Minna no Yama” is being turned into a live-action film, expected to be released in 2011. No further details have been announced so far.
“Gaku: Minna no Yama” revolves around a mountain climber who is part of a search and rescue team. Serialized since 2003, the comic won the 1st Manga Taisho in 2008 and received the general category prize in the 54th Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2009.
