Popular comedy duo Hannya was involved in a car accident on Monday night in the Shinjuku area. The two members, Satoshi Kanada (24) and Akiyoshi Kawashima (28), were riding in a taxi, but their driver collided with another taxi.
The accident occurred around 9:30pm on July 5. According to police, neither Kanada nor Kawashima were hurt, but the passenger of the other taxi suffered a minor injury. Police are currently questioning both drivers and investigating the cause of the accident.
