Haruichi Shindo, Shock Eye form new group The Yatou

Porno Graffitti’s Haruichi Shindo and Shonannokaze’s SHOCK EYE are teaming up with a young sound creator named Atsushi for a new three-man project called THE Yatou (written as THE 野党 or THE 810). The group is already planning to release its first album, “8:10pm,” on February 9 through SME Records.

Shindo and SHOCK EYE first met each other in December 2008 through a TV music show, and they became good friends. They were later joined by Atsushi (who has created some arrangements and tracks for artists such as JASMINE and KAT-TUN) after he worked on Porno Graffitti’s album “TRIGGER.”

As an experiment, Shindo brought SHOCK EYE and Atsushi to his private studio for a jam session, and that day they created the song “WHO AM I?” which is included on their first album. After that, they spent another year working on more songs to complete the album.

The group has already opened its official website and a Twitter account.
