J League soccer player Hiroyuki Taniguchi (24) and actress Rina Matsuki (25) celebrated the birth of their first child earlier this month. Taniguchi, who plays for Kawasaki Frontale, married Matsuki this past April.
Matsuki gave birth to a son on August 17 at a hospital in Kawasaki. The delivery was a little earlier than expected, but the child is said to be healthy. Matsuki commented that she is hoping to return to work soon.
