Hitomi Yaida gets married

Singer-songwriter Hitomi Yaida is getting married. Her partner is a 30-year-old involved in music-related work, but it is said they have not worked together before. They met six years ago through friends, and they have been dating for about two years now.

The two will register their marriage on July 28, which is also Yaida’s 29th birthday. There are currently no plans announced for a ceremony or reception.

Yaida is also scheduled to release a new single on October 10, reportedly titled “Haneyume.” The song will be used this fall as the theme for the TV Asahi drama special “Ganges Gawa de Butterfly,” which stars Masami Nagasawa.
