Comedian Hitoshi Matsumoto of the duo Downtown has become a father at the age of 46. His wife, former talento Rin Ihara (26), gave birth to a daughter on the morning of October 6. The couple have been married since May.
Matsumoto is currently attending the Pusan International Film Festival in Korea. “Symbol,” his second film as a director, is being screened there.
