Horikita to make anime seiyu debut in “Doraemon” movie

Maki Horikita will be an anime voice actress for the first time in the upcoming “Doraemon” movie, scheduled to hit theaters on March 8.

In “Doraemon: Nobita and the Legend of the Green Giant,” Horikita plays a young princess of the “Green Planet,” who transfers all of Earth’s plants there because of the Earth’s advancing environmental destruction.

Recordings for the trailer took place this month, while recordings for the film are scheduled to start in January.
