Author Kei Yuikawa's Naoki Prize-winning novel "Katagoshi no Koibito" is being adapted into a drama series with the same name. The drama will be broadcast on TBS every Thursday at 10:00pm, starting on July 5.
Actress Ryoko Yonekura has been cast as the protagonist Moe Hayasaka, an office lady who is indecisive about getting married. Her friend Ruriko is the complete opposite, declaring that she can't live without always being in love. The series focuses on their friendship and their complicated love lives. In particular, Moe becomes inadvertently involved with a high schooler who runs away from home (Kazuma Sano).
Other cast members include Seiichi Tanabe, Masaru Nagai, and Mayumi Wakamura.
