Rock band The Cro-Magnons will sing their first theme song for a movie this summer. The tune, titled "Girigiri Gagangan," will appear in Yasushi Sumida's "Waruboro," an adaptation of a semi-autobiographical novel written by Gets Itaya. The film, which stars Shota Matsuda and Yui Aragaki, opens on September 8.
The Cro-Magnons are a new band formed last year by Hiroto Komoto and Masatoshi Mashima, who are better known as former members of The Blue Hearts and The High-Lows.
