A new idol group has recently formed to take advantage of the growing popularity of the fujoshi (basically, female otaku) subculture. The six-member Nakano Fujoshi Sisters is being produced by talento Hanawa, who has now taken to calling himself "Jazzy Hanawa."
The group consists of Yoko Inui, Chiaki Kyan, Yuka Kyomoto, Erika Ura, Suzanne, and Yuka Konan.
Their debut song is titled "GO! FIGHT! Fujoshi Sisters," but it is not scheduled to go on sale until next January. So far, they have been quietly building a fan base by performing at live houses in Nakano, but they are planning a larger show at the Shibuya Boxx on July 7.
