Voice actor and narrator Shinji Nakae died of liver cancer on Thursday. He was 72.
Nakae has done voices for a wide range of media, including games, anime, film, and radio. He was well-known for his work on the "Kamen Rider" series and his narration of Fuji TV's "Trivia no Izumi."
He was diagnosed with cancer less than a year ago. He continued working while making frequent trips to the hospital, until a few months ago when he underwent his final treatment and was admitted to a hospice.
