Actress Koyuki has been revealed as a cast member in the upcoming live-action movie, "Blood: The Last Vampire." The Hong Kong-produced film is being directed by Chris Nahon, and stars Korean actress Jun Ji-hyun ("My Sassy Girl," "Windstruck") as the protagonist Saya, though she will be credited under the name Gianna Jun.
Koyuki plays a vampire, but her character was not in the original animated "Blood: The Last Vampire." One highlight of the movie is a battle scene between Koyuki and Jun.
The film's dialogue is entirely in English. It is expected to see international releases, starting in 2008.
