The 2nd Mobile Phone Novel Awards were presented on Thursday afternoon. The grand prize was won by 29-year-old writer reY, who wrote "Shiroi Jersey ~Sensei to Watashi~," a painful love story between a teacher and a high school girl.

Nikkan Sports also noted that the official website for the awards ran a survey asking, "Which actress would you want as the heroine of a mobile novel?" Erika Toda was announced as the top choice, according to the survey.

- Special Judges' Prize: "BITTER.O" by Akio; "Braun-kan no Naka no Kanojo" by Norane
- Children's Award: "ID01" by Nuko
