On Thursday afternoon, jazz vocalist Miyuki Ishino died of peritoneal cancer at a Kobe hospital. She was 35.
Ishino was diagnosed with stomach cancer last September. She continued with her music, however, performing a dinner show in September and her last concert this past July. She had another show scheduled last month, but it was canceled.
