Actress Mai Kitajima gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday evening, about one week later than her estimated due date. This is the first child of her second marriage.
Kitajima married a publishing editor in July of last year. She was previously married to Mikio Osawa (of Hikaru Genji), who has custody of their 11-year-old son.
