It was recently announced that Hikaru Utada's newest album, "HEART STATION," was mastered twice - once for CD and once for digital distribution.
Both were mastered at Sterling Sound in New York by world-class engineers. Ted Jensen handled the CD version, while Tom Coyne did the digital version. The separate masterings were done to account for differences in the two formats, so that each is as close to the original sound as possible.
The album goes on sale March 19.
