Stage and television actor Shigeo Ozawa died of a stroke at a Saitama hospital on Thursday. He was 81.
As a member of the acting troupe Budounokai, Ozawa made his first stage appearance in 1949 in Junji Kinoshita's "Twilight Crane." His television roles include "Bus Dori Ura" and several NHK taiga dramas.
