The four-member band GReeeeN has been asked to do their first theme song for a television drama series. The song, titled "Kiseki," will be used in the TBS baseball drama "ROOKIES."
GReeeeN started writing the song in February, the day after 3 of their members took the national dental exams. All 4 members were dentistry students until these 3 graduated this past January.
"Kiseki" goes on sale May 28, though ringtones will be available starting on April 19, the day "ROOKIES" premieres.
