Karaoke maker Daiichikosho is celebrating the 15th year of its DAM (Daiichikosho Amusement Multimedia) service. On Monday, it announced its top artist rankings based on data between April 1994 and February 2008. The company found that Ayumi Hamasaki has been the most popular karaoke choice within that span of time.
GLAY, Mr.Children, Southern All Stars, and B'z were the next most popular artists. Looking at just Hamasaki's music, the top 5 songs were "SEASONS," "Voyage," "M," "appears," and "Dearest."
The top song overall was Rimi Natsukawa's version of "Nada Sousou."
