Rock band B'z has announced that they will release two best albums this year to commemorate their 20th anniversary. Counting their most recent release, "Burn -Fumetsu no Face-," they are currently on a record-setting streak of 41 consecutive #1 hits over the last 19 years, giving them an ample pool of songs to choose from.
"B'z The Best ULTRA Pleasure" will go on sale first on June 18. The two-disc compilation features 30 tracks, 27 of which have been sold as singles. According to Oricon, the songs have had combined sales of close to 25.9 million copies. Then on September 17, they will release "B'z The Best ULTRA Treasure," containing a selection of fan-requested songs.
The concept behind the two albums comes from their similar 1998 collections, "B'z The Best Pleasure" and "B'z The Best Treasure," which together sold more than 9 million copies.
