Following up on Viz Media's recent announcement that it has acquired download rights for the Death Note anime series, a spokesperson confirmed that the company has also acquired DVD rights. The DVDs have not yet been scheduled, however, and will be dubbed version of the series, as opposed to the subtitled version that will be available for download.
