The 30th Moscow International Film Festival (June 19-28) will present acclaimed director Takeshi Kitano with a "life-time achievement award for the outstanding contribution to film arts" during the festival's opening ceremony. In addition, six of his movies, ranging from "Violent Cop" to "Glory to the Filmmaker!," will be screened during one of the festival's special programs.
