The album is the latest undertaking by the COVER LOVER PROJECT, which has released a series of bossa nova cover albums, with the most recent one in stores since March. The group's name has been slightly changed to COVER RAGGA PROJECT for the album, known as "MELLOW LOVERS."
10 songs have been selected for the collection, ranging from Chatmonchy's "Shangri-la" to Ayaka's "Mikazuki" to JUDY AND MARY's "Over Drive." Other artists being covered include Spitz, Kobukuro, Kaela Kimura, and Yosui Inoue.
"MELLOW LOVERS" goes on sale July 23.
