Former Otokogumi member Kenichi Okamoto has been given his first starring role in a movie since the 1991 film "Aitsu." He will appear in "Boku no Obaachan," the next work directed by actor Hideo Sakaki.
Okamoto plays a top-notch homebuilder devoted to his work, which leaves him little time for his family. But while dealing with one particular client, he is reminded of his childhood days with his grandmother (Kin Sugai).
The movie was shot last October and has been scheduled for release this December.
