Singer Celine Dion has been tapped to sing for Yukihiko Tsutsumi's upcoming film "Maboroshi no Yamataikoku." The movie stars Sayuri Yoshinaga as a woman who, along with her blind husband ((Naoto Takenaka), is searching for the lost kingdom of Yamataikoku. In a brief scene, Yoshinaga appears as the legendary queen Himiko, and Dion's song will serve as the theme of that scene.
The tune is titled "A WORLD TO BELIEVE IN ~Himiko Fantasia~." The original version was part of Dion's "Taking Chances" album last year, and in January she released it in Japan as a duet with Yuna Ito. For "Yamataikoku," however, she has rewritten the lyrics and is singing the song in Japanese.
The movie comes out on November 1.
