Last week, it was reported that actress Saeko was looking to change agencies, but she has now made a public statement clarifying her plans.

The original news claimed that she would leave Topcoat and join the private agency run by the father of her husband, Yu Darvish. It was also said that she was planning to become a fashion accessory designer and launch her own brand.

While Saeko confirmed that she has indeed left Topcoat, she denied the reports that she would change agencies and become a designer. Instead, she says she is "retiring" for the time being, so that she can devote her time to raising her child. However, she did indicate that she may eventually return to show business. For now, she is continuing her blog at least until December, when she is scheduled to publish her blog as a book.
