Mamoru Hosoda's animated film "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo" ("The Girl who Leapt Through Time") will have its U.S. premiere at the New York International Children's Film Festival. The movie was released in Japan last year, and it quickly became one of the most talked-about animated films despite its limited release. It has also won multiple awards, including one at Sitges.
