Reggae singer MINMI is changing record companies from Victor Entertainment to Universal Music, where she will launch her "Project 33" (read as "Project Minmi") under Far Eastern Tribe Records. With this move, MINMI is apparently hoping to expand to other markets through Universal's worldwide reach.
As part of "Project 33," MINMI released her new song, "Hatsuyume ~FREEDOM Gaiden ver.~," as a chaku-uta for a limited one-month period starting on January 1. Upon its release, the song managed to top Recochoku's daily club music charts.
