Actress Sumire Haruno (36) attended a talk event in Tokyo on Monday. During the event, she revealed to her fans that she is soon getting married, and she was instantly greeted with applause.
The same day, she wrote on her blog that she plans to get married this month. According to a source close to Haruno, her partner is a company president who is older than her. They have apparently been dating for two years, and they will hold their wedding ceremony in Yokohama.
Haruno was once a top star of the Takarazuka's Flower Troupe, playing the otokoyaku. She left the revue in 2007, though she remains active in theater. In February, she took on her first starring role in a musical with "Marguerite."
