Nippon Ham pitcher Yu Darvish (22) and actress Saeko (22) both announced on their blogs that they are expecting their second child.
Darvish, who pitched his fifth complete-game victory of the season in Wednesday's match against the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, also shared the good news with his fans during a post-game interview.
Darvish and Saeko have been married since November 2007. Saeko gave birth to their first child, a son, in March 2008.
