Young boy band Hey! Say! JUMP is currently setting records with their heavy concert schedule. On Wednesday, they completed a streak of nine shows at the Yokohama Arena, becoming the first ever group to perform there for 7 consecutive days. Hey! Say! JUMP brought in roughly 135,000 fans over the course of that week.
The Yokohama concerts marked the start of the group's summer tour, which covers a total of 19 performances in 4 cities until the end of August. This will be their biggest tour so far, expected to gather a total of 250,000 fans.
Hey! Say! JUMP also announced that they have scheduled a concert at the Tokyo Dome on September 13. They have performed there once before in December 2007, shortly after they released their debut single.
