Shinya Tsukamoto's new "Tetsuo" movie, titled "Tetsuo: The Bullet Man," will be in competition at this year's Venice Film Festival. On Thursday, the festival unveiled its official lineup, which also includes the animated film "Yona Yona Penguin" in the Out of Competition category.
The first "Tetsuo" movie, released in 1989, became a cult classic and established Tsukamoto internationally. It was followed by "Tetsuo II: Body Hammer" in 1992. The new sequel, which was unveiled at the recent San Diego Comic-Con, is filmed entirely in English.
The Venice Film Festival takes place from September 2 to September 12.
