Actor and musician Shinji Takeda (36) will star in a movie called "Kyou Kara Hitman," directed by Kenji Yokoi.
The film is adapted from the manga of the same name by Hiroshi Mutou. Takeda plays an ordinary salaryman who gets mixed up in the death of a legendary hitman, and as a result, he has to lead a double life as the hitman's successor.
In addition to playing this dual role, Takeda is writing and performing the movie's theme song, titled "The Hitman."
"Kyou Kara Hitman" is scheduled to open in theaters this fall.
