Model NANAMI, who passed away in July due to lung cancer, will have an album released under her name at the end of this month. Titled "Birth," the album contains five songs written and sung by her.
NANAMI, the daughter of actor Hiroshi Katsuno and talento Kathy Nakajima, mainly worked as a model but also started the jewelry brand Manna Island as a designer in 2007. As a singer, she had been doing live performances at clubs in Shibuya and Roppongi since 1999. She released an indies CD on her own last year under the name Tina Nakajima.
"Birth" goes on sale September 30.
