Former Morning Musume member Kei Yasuda (28) updated her blog on Sunday after almost a week of silence. She announced that she recently underwent surgery to have her tonsils removed and is now out of the hospital.

Yasuda revealed that she has suffered from chronic tonsillitis since the time of her debut in 1998, repeatedly getting fevers every year. Because she had a gap in her schedule before her next play, she decided to finally treat the problem.
