Comedian Yuji Tanaka (44) of the Bakusho Mondai duo unexpectedly announced on Friday that he has divorced. The divorce papers were turned in that day, ending a nine-year marriage.
Tanaka wedded a woman named Natsumi (35) in March 2000. Their relationship went well at first, but as Bakusho Mondai rose in popularity, Tanaka became more frequently absent from home. The couple never had children, and Natsumi's loneliness eventually led her to suggest divorce this past August. After discussing the matter, the two ultimately decided that divorce was the best option.
