Singer Miliyah Kato (21) has been chosen to provide a promotional song for "New Moon," the next movie in the popular "Twilight" series. The film's Japanese premiere is scheduled for November 28.
Kato has sung many theme songs for Japanese films and television shows, but she has never had a tie-in with a U.S. movie before. The song, titled "Destiny," will not be heard in "New Moon," but it will be used in the movie's trailers.
"Destiny" will be available as the second track on Kato's upcoming single "WHY," which goes on sale November 18.
