Former prime minister Junichiro Koizumi (67) is taking on his first voice acting role in "Daikaiju Battle: Ultra Ginga Densetsu THE MOVIE," the latest tokusatsu superhero film in the popular Ultra Series.
Koizumi will provide the voice of Ultraman King, one of the oldest members of the Ultra family. The character of Ultraman King was the one who imprisoned the evil Ultraman Belial (Hiroyuki Miyasako), who has escaped confinement. The movie includes a scene of Ultraman King giving a rousing speech to hundreds of Ultra Warriors, who must now fight against Belial.
Koichi Sakamoto is directing. The movie opens in theaters on December 12.
