YUI is on top of the singles chart again, with her latest release "It's all too much / Never say die" selling over 75,000 copies in its first week. She is now just the third female singer-songwriter to achieve three consecutive #1 singles, after Yumi Matsutoya and Hikaru Utada.

The #2 single of the week was "BEFORE I DECAY" by the GazettE, followed by new singles from UNICORN, THE ALFEE, and Ryu Si-won. The Cro-Magnons also had a new song in the top ten.

On the albums chart, the duo Yuzu claimed victory with close to 115,000 copies of their "FURUSATO." Including singles, this is their first #1 since January 2006.

Meanwhile, Ayaka's best album dropped to #2 in its second week, but it has already taken the lead for best selling album by a female artist this year. It has now sold a total of 577,000 copies.

The other new albums in the top ten were released by SEAMO, m-flo, Shion, and YU-A.
