Akira Kurosawa's 1962 film "Sanjuro" will be remade by director Yoshimitsu Morita, and actor Yuji Oda will play the lead role of Sanjuro (originally played by legendary Toshiro Mifune). The Haruki Kadokawa Corporation acquired the remake rights to both "Sanjuro" and "Yojimbo" in May of last year.
