Popular author Mitsuyo Kakuta (42) is now married to Takehiro Kohno (31), the drummer of rock band GOING UNDER GROUND. Kohno announced the news on the band's website on Thursday.
Kakuta has written many works and won many awards, but she is perhaps best known for the novel "Taigan no Kanojo" ("Woman on the Other Shore"), which earned her the Naoki Prize in 2005. Kakuta was married once before to author Takami Ito (38), winner of the Akutagawa Prize in 2006.
