On Saturday, actor Hiroshi Tamaki (29) held a concert in Fukuoka, kicking off his first nationwide tour since three years ago. During the show, he announced to the crowd of approximately 2,000 fans that he will be performing overseas next March.
On March 6, he will first visit Korea to perform at Melon AX in Seoul. Then on March 26, he will sing at the HITEC Star Hall in Hong Kong. Tamaki has been gaining popularity throughout Asia due to his role in the popular "Nodame Cantabile" drama series.
Despite being busy with filming for the upcoming "Nodame Cantabile" movies, Tamaki has been working on new songs. He performed three of them for the first time during Saturday's concert. He also sang a cover of "Basket Case" by the American rock band Green Day.
