Actress Chiaki Kuriyama (25) is set to make her singing debut. Spelling her name as CHiAKi KURiYAMA, she will release a single titled "Ryusei no Namida" on February 24.
"Ryusei no Namida" will be used as the theme song of the animated "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn," the newest in the "Gundam" franchise. "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn" is being released as a set of six OVAs starting in March.
Kuriyama's single will be sold in three versions: a regular edition, a limited CD+DVD edition, and a limited-time Gundam edition.
