JAYWALK vocalist faces charges for knife possession

Koichi Nakamura, a vocalist for rock band JAYWALK, is facing prosecution for violating the Guns and Knives Control Law, it was learned on Friday.

On June 8, Nakamura was stopped by a police officer in the Meguro ward of Tokyo. The officer discovered an 8.5-cm Swiss Army knife in his vehicle, which Nakamura said was left there after a camping trip about a year before.

The case has been sent to public prosecutors.
