jealkb loses two members
Visual-kei band jealkb announced during a concert on Monday that two of its members are leaving. Keyboardist “chaos” and guitarist “mofto” will end their activities with the band in April, after it completes its current tour.
jealkb formed in 2005 and made their major label debut in 2007. All seven members have roots as comedians, though chaos and mofto are not currently active in a group under Yoshimoto Kogyo. The band’s vocalist is “haderu,” the stage name for Atsushi Tamura of the popular duo London Boots 1go 2go.

Kiminobu Kanenari, who was part of the comedy duo
Hello Bye Bye until it disbanded last month. mofto, or
Kenichi Kikuchi, used to be in
Garakuta Punch. However, both are leaving jealkb to once again focus on their comedy careers. Together, they are forming a new duo called
Ginnana and are expected to start performances in February.
jealkb is releasing their new single, “
makemagic,” on January 20 and their first photobook on January 22. After chaos and mofto leave, the band plans to continue with the remaining five members.
