JJ model Arimura to debut as singer

21-year-old fashion model Miki Arimura is starting a singing career. On November 7, she will release her debut double single, “Mauve ~color of love / Nocturne.”

Arimura has been an exclusive model for JJ magazine since graduating from high school. She has also appeared in film and television, including the recently finished “Ushi ni Negai wo: Love & Farm.”

Passionate about music, she is said to have gone to karaoke bars 3-4 times a week during her high school days. More recently, she has been taking voice training since half a year ago, when it was decided that she would make her debut as a singer.

Arimura is scheduled to participate in a Tokyo Bay cruise event on the 28th, where she will give her first public performance of her songs.
