Kanjani8 announces countdown concerts, three new singles

It was announced earlier this month that Kanjani8 will be holding their own New Year countdown concerts this year. They have previously participated in the usual Johnny's Jimusho countdown event at the Tokyo Dome, but this will be their first time by themselves.

Kanjani8 will do three concerts at Osaka Dome, on December 30, 31, and January 1, with an expected total attendance of 135,000 fans. They will be the second Johnny’s group to do a New Year’s Eve concert at the Osaka Dome, after KinKi Kids performed there last year.

It was also announced that the group will release three singles next month on consecutive days. The first will be “GIFT ~Shiro~” on December 23, followed by “GIFT ~Aka~” on Christmas Eve and then “GIFT ~Midori~” on Christmas Day. Each will retail for 888 yen and include two or three tracks, for a total of 7 songs.
